Job description

Are you ready for a new challenge that requires more responsibility? Do you want to be a part of company that operates internationally, that creates innovative solutions in upcycling and valorizing plant-based co-products for a sustainable world? Then you are the one we are looking for. Duynie Group is continuously developing and expanding worldwide. If you are ready for this challenge, you are welcome to apply for the following job vacancy within the Duynie Group:

Technical Project Employee

(40 uur)

What will you be doing?

As Technical Project Employee, you are partly responsible for delivering new, innovative production processes in the factories of our suppliers. You work closely with various stakeholders such as engineers, suppliers, HSE coordinators and other involved parties. You will be involved in every phase of the project. From the feasibility studies to the implementation and final delivery and transfer. During the project you monitor whether the deadlines and goals are achieved. In unexpected situations, you ensure that everything gets back on track. You will support the Project Manager:

- Budget control: carefully manage and monitor the project budget;

- Planning: drawing up and monitoring detailed project plans;

- Guiding the engineering process: being actively involved in the engineering process and providing instructions to third parties;

- Organizing all associated documentation such as CE, HAZOP, manuals, etc.;

- Arranging and setting up maintenance programs;

- Inform stakeholders: discuss the progress;

- Review suppliers' contracts and monitor compliance.

What does your workday look like?

Once you arrive at the office, you have a nice cup of coffee and settle in for the first online meeting of the day. The new 3D designs from the engineers have arrived! Together with your Project Manager you will look critically at whether the design meets all requirements and, where necessary, you contribute to improvement. After the meeting, you will write down your conclusions. Based on the conclusions, you will write an advice report that includes possible effects on the project budget.

Now that the 3D designs have been received, you will plan a short visit abroad for next week where the factory is being built. After all, it is your project! To ensure that you are well prepared, you will call the supplier to coordinate a few things: ‘When will the machine be delivered? How is it implemented? Which process components will be delivered and when?’ A good preparation ensures you are not faced with unexpected questions.

After you break, it is time to hit the road. You visit the supplier's workshop to view the progress of the ordered equipment. Your critical point of view is also needed here. The machines must meet the required specifications. If necessary, you will provide your input.

At the end of the afternoon, you will call your colleague for a short update and all the progress that has been made. On to the next phase and after successful delivery, on to the next project!
