Duynie is a supplier of moisture-rich animal feed for cattle and pig farming in Europe, a market in which we are the market leader in Europe. Currently we are expanding across Europe and for our new office in Romania we are looking for a:

Product Manager Feed (Transylvania Area)

What are you going to do?

As our Product Manager Feed Romania you will be responsible for the sales of our product in the Transylvania area of Romania. We are currently setting up our head office in Brasov, Romania. Romania is a new market for us so you will be doing a lot of acquisition with new clients/farmers.
In this role you will be on the road visiting customers and potential customers for 90% of the time. You will be responsible for the sale of moist animal feed to cattle farmers (mainly cows, but also some pig farmers). With your passion for sales and knowledge of our product, you act as a sparring partner for these farmers. You advise them on the use and applications of our circular feeds and convince them to buy their feed from Duynie. It is important that you know how to bind (new) customers to us and build a lasting relationship with them. You record the progress and developments in this regard in our system. Our sustainable products come from residual flows from production companies. As a result, our business operations are supply-driven and not demand-driven. This requires a completely different way of selling, which makes this position dynamic and challenging.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

• Knowledge of and/or strong affinity with the agricultural sector;
  
• Sales experience, preferably in the agricultural sector;
• Preferably experience with cow feed or a nutritional background is an advantage;
• You have a no-nonsense mentality, have good communication skills and a commercial spirit;
• You enjoy delving into developments in the sector;
• You are inventive, proactive and do not get stressed easily;
• You are a native Romanian speaker and speak English fluently;
• You are in possession of a driving license.
