Duynie Feed is a supplier of moisture-rich animal feed for cattle and pig farming in Europe, a market in which we are the market leader in Europe. Currently we are expanding across Europe and for our new office in Romania we are looking for a:

Supply Chain Planner

(Brasov, 36-40 hours)

What will you do?

As a Supply Chain Planner in Romania you will be responsible for the correct planning of our transports in Romania. You will be planning bulk products from different locations all across Romania. Our work area is driven by supply and there will be a lot of contact with dispatchers, carriers and clients to make sure our products arrive at the right place at the right time. Due to your insights in our Supply Chain you will be able to make an estimate of what the supply will be and will act accordingly. You are often aware of the demand in the market before the external customer. By analyzing the available data, you gain insight into whether the market is currently in a state of under- or oversupply. Based on this market information, you put together the most optimal planning including the associated administrative handling.
In addition, these tasks will also be an important part of your work:

• You are responsible for the planning the freight between our suppliers and customers;
• You have good communication skills, are commercially oriented and dare to make decisions;
• You work accurately and customer-oriented, even under pressure;
• You contribute to the more efficient organization of our processes;
• When you are in contact with our stakeholders inside and outside the organization, you help them in a pleasant way.

What are we looking for in a candidate:

• You have an education towards logistics or supply chain;
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of and/or strong affinity with the agricultural sector;
• You have good communication skill, service-oriented and dare to make decisions;
• You have a no-nonsense mentality, have good communication skills and a commercial spirit;
• You enjoy delving into developments in the sector;
• You are inventive, proactive and do not get stressed easily;
• You are a native Romanian speaker and speak English fluently.
