For the Central Office of Cosun Beet Company in Dinteloord, we are searching for a:

Demand Planner S&OP

(32 - 40 hours)

You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and collaborate closely with various teams within our organization. Your contribution is essential for optimizing our supply chain and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and strategic demand forecasting.

What will you be doing?

Cosun Beet Company is looking for a Demand Planner S&OP who plays a crucial role in our Supply Chain team. You ensure that we can predict all market demands for the next 18 months and strategically respond to them. With your analytical skills and clear communication, you contribute to a smooth and efficient operation.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Forecast development and maintenance: Develop and maintain accurate forecasts that support our strategic decisions.
2. Creating forecasts: Generate forecasts based on historical data and current market information.
3. Data analysis and reporting: Analyze data and create detailed reports to identify trends and deviations.
4. Demand review meetings: Organize and lead monthly demand review meetings.
5. Process improvements: Identify and implement enhancements in our demand forecasting processes.

What could a day in this job be like?

A typical day as a Demand Planner S&OP at Cosun Beet Company might begin with organizing the data. You’ll perform statistical analyses and investigate how customers behaved in the past compared to the current input for the next 18 months. Additionally, you’ll review contract reports and sales meeting notes to improve the quality of the forecast. Next, you’ll engage with account managers to verify the accuracy of product-level forecasts.

Throughout the day, you’ll closely collaborate with supply chain managers, supply planners, account managers, sales managers, production planners, and the order management team. The ultimate goal is to generate accurate output that the production team can work with. At the end of the day, you’ll present to the production planners at the Puttershoek location, sharing the story behind the numbers and analyses

What will you bring?

• HBO/WO level of thinking and working
• At least 5 years of relevant experience. 
• Process-oriented thinking and strategic insight. 
• Experience with S&OP is a plus. 
• Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of Dutch & German is a plus. E
• STJ / ISTJ personality type: organized, goal-oriented, and strong decision-makers. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of systems and content management. 
• Skill in data analysis and understanding complex information. 
• Strong communication skills and an investigative attitude.

• A salary between €4,000 to €5,400 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek (classification depends on knowledge and experience).

Procedure:

2. Case: Prior to the second interview, you’ll receive a 2-hour case to complete. Then, you’ll proceed directly to the second interview to discuss it together.
